Is there a device for get internet on laptop when out of cell service area

Is there a device I can get that would allow me to get internet on my laptop in an area where I don't have cell phone service for a hot spot?

it's called wi-fi. i would imagine any laptop these days has a built-in wi-fi adapter. if not, you can purchase a USB stick or a wi-fi card if your laptop has a corresponding slot for it.

If you are talking about getting Internet in the middle of nowhere, then your only option is an (expensive) Sattelite kit - dish, equipment box, and monthly charge. Don't expect to game on that.

Yeah, if you are going to some place where there are no cellphone towers for G3, G4, LTE data service, then you will need to get mobile satellite internet service. The device itself will likely be expensive (probably at least $300) and expect the monthly fee to be expensive as well.
