it depends with your headphone and the tv transmitter, if both devices have low latency aptx function, the lag is minimum. i bought this from amazon http/amzn.com/B00QV77XU6 and i do not have any problem with it.

HI there has anyone figured out how to resolved the greyed out sound share settings that's the only way to pair and now I can't due to that can someone please assist

There is a hidden menu on the tv if you go to YouTube type in Samsung 4K hidden menu. Click second video. He'll show you how to get the Bluetooth menu. There you can use Bluetooth devices without buying extra devices.

You don't need an adapter.

find which code works for your TV, use it to enter the service menu, go to the options>engineering menu>bluetooth and turn it on... then restart the tv.

For my Samsung Smart TV (UN60H7100) it enabled me to then be able to go into the menu>sound>speaker settings and when you open TV Sound Output you should now be able to select bluetooth headphones. Then you'll see a new section for BT headphones, and you'll be able to pair them there.

Man, you're awesome! This did the trick for my Samsung UE40H6240 and JBL Clip+. Now I use it as remote speaker, to watch TV at evening and to not disturb home mates.
