Is there any parts I can salvage from my cq1000 for building a gaming computer?

Hi I'm looking to build a gaming computer but cause I want to cut costs as much as possible I would like to know if I can salvage anything from my cq1000 thanks.

HDD is about it, still would buy a new SSD/HDD and just use that as a backup drive or something. Can also reuse the peripherals like optical drive, keyboard, etc... You can try reusing the RAM and adding more with the new build. Worst that happens is the computer doesn't boot with the old 2GB stick in, since mixing RAM usually doesn't work too well. Never hurts to give it a try though.
