Is there legitimate software to clone one hard drive to another?

I have a Dell desktop Optiplex 780 and the hard drive has only 16gb of space left on it. I bought a 1 TB hard drive and would like to clone the drive in the Dell to the new 1TB. I have tried the trial versions of Ocronis and also Paragon with no luck. How do we clone from one hard drive to another if we can?

most major brands like Seagate etc, provide a software to do duplicates clones of drives. have you checked their web site (or web link in the manual of the drive?) cost nothing and usually work perfectly
