Question Is this a good general use laptop?

So I was looking at a basic laptop - a Dell Inspiron 15.6" laptop for light gaming (stuff like Kerbal Space Program, Minecraft, etc.) and some general use for school.
I was wondering if this would be a good fit for me. Any help is appreciated!

Some specs:
15.6" touch screen
8 GB of RAM
256GB SSD
Intel Core i5 and Intel UHD Graphics 620

Edit: BTW I'm open to any suggestions to laptops you guys have under $500, just looking for a quick and cheap laptop to use! ;)

I don't like not having a 1080 screen, but a 768 one does keep the price down, and it will be easier to run Minercraft on a lower resolution. CPU, RAM and solid state are good in that sale price.

If this is your only system I would go for a better screen, but that adds some cost.

From BestBuy:

This model is good for all-around gaming at medium settings in many games https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-fx505dd-15-6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-256gb-solid-state-drive-black/6338249.p?skuId=6338249 One thing with those FX505 models is that run louder than many other systems and of course are a bit larger due to being an actual gaming system, but for the price they are great performers.

Thanks for the suggestion, I found a pretty nice one at Best Buy as well: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-15-6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-256gb-solid-state-drive-shadow-black-chrome-green-paint-finish/6364574.p?skuId=6364574
It has like 3gb of vram so I'll be able to run KSP on the recommended settings
