I had planned on building a new gaming desktop, but I am being deployed soon so I wouldn't get to use it much at first. So I am deciding on getting a laptop first. I won't be doing alot of gaming on it. It will primarily be for when I get deployed or go TDY. I will most likely be doing online classes from it, a little gaming(most likely a little WOW maybe some older games like Warcraft 3, or maybe Aion if it runs it. But I will be building my desktop when I get back. Here is the laptop from HP https://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/cart_detail.do?pageLink=true&bvLoadCart=1&action=add&disp_msg=0 also I can put in a coupon code NBZR75464 to knock off another $250. to bring it to $949. The main question I am wondering is how well the graphics card will hold up and will this laptop last me a couple of years(at least 2 years)?

First off I would like to say thank you for your service. Ok now to your question. Since the link dosnt bring up the laptop that you set up and looking at the price you gave us. I would have to say your talking about the hdx18t. Now I know there alot of people that hate HP but I have never had a problem with them.

Here the stock stats on the HDX18 so everyone can jump in on this.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor P8700 (2.53 GHz, 3 MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB)
4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) - For 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 130M ( $20 on top of base model)
1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 130M - For DDR3 Memory (thats a upgrade of a $100 which I would recomend)
320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
18.4" diagonal High Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity Display (1920x1080p)
Blu-Ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW Double Layer
Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card
8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

that all comes to $1319.99 befor the coupon code that you have for $250. Now as the coupon code gos. I dont know when you are being deploying but if you can hold off on buying you might be able to find yourself a better deal on this laptop. The past Lapbor Day weekend there was a 50% off coupon for HP. Not sure when or if that code will come around again soon but the $250 seems to be poping up every week. With the GT 130m video card you should be able to handle the game list you gave out. But you wont be able to max out the settings on some of the higher demand games.

I greatly appreciate your thanks.
It is actually the HDX16t http://www.logicbuy.com/deals/coupon-HP-Pavilion-HDX16t-16-in-1080p-Blu-ray-Laptop/8259.aspx
that is the link to the coupon it gives you the option of customizing it when you go to buy it. So I upgraded the processor to the P8600 and the graphics card to the 1gb 130m. Also it gives you a couple free upgrades like the ram, HDD, and a couple other things. Like I said though I wouldn't be doing much gaming on it mostly online schooling and watching movies when I'm not home. Thank you for your help.
