Is this laptop any count?

My day to day laptop of 8 years is on its last leg and is nearing life support, so I have been looking for a new one. I came across one in a local shop for 250 dollars, but have never dealt with AMD components so I'm not sure how good of a computer it is. Again this laptop would mostly be used for day to day use such as streaming video, browsing the internet, work related things, and maybe some gaming, but not a lot. Let me know what you all think.

I guess you pay for what you get, it is a good price but is not a really good laptop. But for surfing the web, watching Youtube videos is great, not so good at gaming but it will work

Roughly speaking, the A12-9600p is similar to the i5-4200u in overall performance. The Radeon R5 (Bristol Ridge) graphics core is similar to the Intel HD 620 in performance. That means it is a little less powerful than the nVidia 920m.

It's good enough for your needs and it has some limited gaming capabilities. For $250 it is a pretty good deal.
