Is this laptop good for gaming?

i5-3230m and GT650M 2gb

I have a laptop i5 2430m, 6GB RAM and GT540m and I can still play skyrim on medium/high, medium BF3, medium sleeping dogs, crysis 2 medium, GT4 medium with a little tweak. yeah it can play games decently but my only problem is the heating, its so hot sometimes scares me, but I still continue to play on it. My laptop still lives upto now but just use it just for casual things because I just got my gaming/workstation PC.

that laptop is higher than mine you might be able to play games in high settings and btw I bought mine 2 years ago, so I can say that its a decent laptop for gaming, but IDK if you play next gen games with that, maybe lowest settings but I still doubt it.

Check lenovo Y500 its a decent gaming laptop too, I was planning to buy that because of the dual graphics card because Im not always at my house anyways so I think I need a mobile gaming laptop, but I go with PC instead because of my 3DsMax designing/rendering programs..
