Is this laptop worth buying over mine?

I am looking to upgrade my laptop but i dont know how much better it is than my current one.
I have a 4 year old MSI GT683

Also, how well could this new laptop run things like Witcher 3, and it says it has a 15.6inch screen but reviews say the border around the screen is kind of large, is it 15.6inches of actual screen or is that the length of it side to side borders included

The new laptop is worth upgrading as the gpu is much better than the one you have currently. I can handle witcher 3 at med to high settings.

15.6 inches is the size of the screen itself, measured diagonally, from corner to corner. The border (bezel) around the screen is never included in the measurement.
