Hey guess what Nord's great tech support came through as needed. This is what they said.

Thank you for your letter.

The non-sucking service manager was a hotfix for one of our issues, however as the issue has been almost fully resolved, the file will be removed in future updates.

We can assure you that this application is safe and it was used by other major VPN providers as well.

Let us know if you have additional questions!

Nothing good. Get rid of it. Perform a full malware scan of this system.

You running any game boosters/cheats or games from questionable sources on this system? If so, that is where this likely came from.

Interesting descriptions of NSSM via multiple sources.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=the+non-sucking+service+manager

I have seen a lot of funny things over the years, but this name convention is "special".

It may be legit. Have you scanned this system for malware?
I'll let you know when I hear from NordVPN. Since it was in their folder they should have something to say about it.
I ended the task in task manager.
I looked for it in windows uninstall programs and didn't see it.
I'm running Bitdefender now.
