I've been looking at this laptop: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314878

I'm planning on playing games like cs: go and battlefield 3. I would like to have a great framerate than eye candy. I'm not familiar with sites like newegg. They say they accept refunds within a month and laptop does have bad rating for it's touchpad. I'm not sure if I am able to find a better deal than this. Thanks!

You can't really judge a product with only one review and people tend to write a review if the product is bad / defective versus when it is working properly.

While it may not have the greatest touchpad, you will be playing games with a keyboard and mouse. When I use my laptops I mostly use the mouse and not the touchpad. But there are times when I am typing that I do not want to reach over and use the mouse. A potentially bad trackpad is not the end of the world, but it can be annoying. But at least you can return it for a refund though you need to pay for shipping. Since I do not live in Canada, I am not familiar with other many other online stores in your country.

The GeForce 840m is a decent mainstream GPU especially for the laptop's price. See link below which has benchmarks. Note that games can have multiple benchmark results. That is because they are for specific laptops which can have different specs. For example, performance results for Tomb Raider at 1366x768 (medium) ranges from 58.5 (HP with Core i5-4210u) and 68.2 FPS (Acer with Core i5-4210h).
