So I've finally broken down and decided to get rid of my netbook.
It is a chore to use, slowing down at every chance possible.
I haven't bought a laptop in years, and would love it if I could get some recommendations.
11-14", preferably on the bigger end of that range.
720p playback atleast, 1080 would be a bonus.
Doesn't slow down loading websites with lots of flash.
Snappy response.
Thin and light.
Durable (last laptop, hinges broke right off)
Ability to gaming is a bonus aswell, light gaming is fine, Heroes of Newerth would be ideal.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the Asus UL20FT-A1 for 400, nice weight and size, and some decent horsepower, only thing is no gaming capabilities beyond emulators.
Price is right though.
I'm willing to spend <600
Or i might wait until diablo 3 comes out and invest in a bonafide gaming lappy :p
Thanks in advance!

With such a low budget you are not really going to get anything better than a 1st general Core i5 and Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated video. And you are not going to get anything higher than 1366 x 768 resolution.

If you really want to play Diablo 3 on a laptop, then you might as well save up money for a laptop that's capable of doing that rather than spending money on a budget laptop that will not allow you to do so.

well, i kinda said that lol.
i'm just wondering if there's anything better than the ul20ft-a1 for 400.
gaming isn't a huge concern cuz i have a desktop for that.
but it would be nice to do some mild gaming like heroes of newerth on it.
so <600 there's nothing that will be alot better then the ul20?
