Depends how much power you pump through them. My advice is to make sure the amp is mounted where it can get plenty or air through it ... especially if it has a fan ... and if the heatsink has a bolted mount to fit it to some decent metal surface ... to aid in heat dissipation.

BE carefull how you wire your subs to the amp pay attention to the resistence (Ohms) on which subs and amp works or you could get a fried amp or losing power (the subs are not as loud as it should because you exceeded the optimal resistence)
