Java code to access pc webcamea

as my project name is "security system through face recognition for mobile phone". i have to take picture from webcam. is there any code for connectiing web camera with java or android emulator

So, you want to connect a webcam to the phone or you want to take a pic through the phone via another computer, i.e. use its webcam?

I want to take a picture from usb webcamera through java program and then I want to connect that with camera preview in android emulator.
I have installed JMF and followed this link given below.

but still it does not work.
