What did you originally get your laptop wet with? I assume you then poured alcohol on it. Please clarify.

I literally poured alcohol onto the n key hoping it was something physical. My laptop now doesn’t work. Lights come on but the screen doesn’t.

What kind of alcohol? How much? Was the system powered on, or the battery in it at the time?

It does sound like you shorted the motherboard, or some component of it.
