Question Just moved to this house - help me understand this socket

We just moved to a place and found couple of things that are unclear. Hope someone can help

I would like to use an extender and put inside the wall to end in a coaxial TV socket (i.e. https://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-coaxial-tv-socket-white/25407)

Assuming all is connected properly, I would think it would work.

Do you know how old the in-wall cabling is?

Yes. I think so. Make sure the end that connects to your TV matches the connector type the cable has.

Bought that at the local store but unfortunately it did not work. Will remove this as not worth it having hanging there.
