Just replace my toshiba a205 screen,but got white screen

First time done my screen replace, it's A205 s5000 laptop. When I turn on computer ,screen stay white,I can heard some computer running.
Is any one can help ?

Did you make sure the cable is connected properly and if there was an inverter, you connected it up?
