K501ux adding ram

Where is the extra ram slot to add 4gb of ram? I opened the laptop up but I don't see one. I took out the ram that was already in it to see if there was a slot under it but there doesn't seem to be. I will post a picture. Asus k501ux

Are you supposed to remove the 4gb and replace it with an 8gb? Or do you add an additional 4gb?
