Question Keyboard and mouse stop working randomly

Hello, I have an HP all in one PC, and the keyboard has started to stop working at random times. Also, when this happens the left mouse button opens app properties instead of the app. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I think you machine is old now.... Its most probably due to the I/O ports......
