So, actually my keyboard doesnt work and i am stuck "most " of the times on the login screen. In fact, only few times i manage to open the on-screen keyboard and log into the computer. When i manage to do that , I see that when i type letters/numbers, example 1, i get 1qa and 2ws etc. They only keys i can use properly are 5-6 , t,y ,z-? on the bottom line.pretty much that. instead of when i can type the 1qa etc. Ofcourse no backspace and delete. By the way it happened all of a sudden when i was using my computer the day before then suddenly in the morning the problem occured. Excuse my English :)
( I would like to add that even with on screen keyboard the issue of 1qa, 2ws etc persists)

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that I've suggested to others who had the same problem.

- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the keyboard driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the keyboard driver then reboot your laptop. It will reinstall the driver automatically.
- Next is to make sure that Keyboard settings are all set to United States.
- If all these will not work try an external USB keyboard and see if the same problem will persist because if it will not happen you'll need to do a complete factory reset.
- And if the factory reset will not work the only solution would be to replace the keyboard itself.
- Before you replace the keyboard itself do also make sure that the keyboard ribbon cable is seated properly in the motherboard.

so i removed the keyboard drivers and rebooted. i managed to remove password on login so i can log in immediately. should i proceed with factory reset or might it be something else? i have important programms I dont really want to try finding them again
