keyboard is frozen and cursor dont move on asus notebook

hi all my asus notebook seems to be locked or frozen on keyboard and the mouse cursor and i cant reboot or reset to factory because the leys dont work.please help

Hi,

Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the charger then see if it will work normally with your keyboard and mouse. If it does still freeze up try loading into Safe Mode, while the laptop is booting up repeatedly tap on F8 until it loads Advanced Boot Options then select Safe Mode. See if the keyboard and mouse will still lock up and lastly load the laptop into BIOS and see if it would still lock up because if does it may have something to do with the motherboard and if it doesn't that means it's the HDD that has a problem. See if you can do complete factory reset first using a Recovery disc.
