Keyboard problem

Hello,
for some unexplainable reason my laptop's keyboard won't work. I have to use the onscreen keypad. when i press 'e' i get 'i+urewq' any solutions?

Rather strange. It could be that the cable connecting the keyboard to the motherboard may have come loose or has been damaged due to heat. First though, try reloading the driver for the keyboard and see if it "resets" it back to working condition.
