[citation][nom]TuffLittleUnit[/nom]The Wing Commander games were rubbish in terms of space combat. Flashy video etc but not a touch on the Freespace and XWing/Tie Fighter series. I wanna fly a B-Wing again![/citation]

3D video cards hadn't even been invented when Wing commander was released... Wing commander released 1990, 3DFX founded 1994. Exactly how is this "flashy video" possible on a 256k 2d video card?

3d cards might not have exsisted in 1990 , but 3d rendering did. 3dsmax was created in 1989 it was originally called something else though , and it saw offical release in 1990. naturally the 3d was rendered with software via the CPU (same as it renders today). so flashy 3d videos were quite common for games in 1990 albeit they were really low rez 3d compared to todays real time rendering even. that aside , even back then games didn't need 3d to do flashy videos many video cut scenes in the 90's used live action filming that was converted to digital formats

Kristen Bell has a great butt. That's really the only reason why I watched it but the show has some good characteristics. The actor who plays Mar's father is cool
