So the killer features are:
1. the same type of screen the Galaxy S8 already has
2. a fingerprint sensor in the front glass instead of the back

Fair point. But I think you forget that many iPhone shoppers don't even look at Samsung.
A redesign is way overdue. And if they can make logging less awkward at the same time,
that's a win for users.

I look at Samsung but until they can fix the crappy fragmentation of Android, overall horrible performance of Samsung phones after 1 year of use, and the overall horribleness of the Google Play Store when it comes to apps then I'll stay away from Android and Samsung!
