Lagging ever few seconds

I need some kind of help.. I have windows 10 on my intel i3 @ 1.7gHz with 4GB ram and a Nvidia GeForce 820m 2GB GPU.. But whenever i play some specific games(Far Cry 4, GTA V) it lags every few seconds.. Like i can play the game smoothly for 1-2 minutes then it lags for few seconds and this keeps on repeating.. I even tried reducing the graphics settings n also the resolution but the same happened.. Is there any solution to this??

Try checking what else is running in the background which could be using up resources. Also run good deep scans for viruses and malware to make sure there isn't any of those causing the issue.

And I should mention that if you are playing any of these while online (either for the game or for something else) your internet connection could be the cause of the slowing.
