How do you check if a battery is 4 cell or 6 cell ?

What specification of battery confirms you that it is 4 cell or 6 cell ?

First, shut-down your computer, then take out the battery and look for a label on it. read all the electrical gibberish until you find 4 cell or 6 cell

Hi, look at the number of the battery and Google the number, you will see a few sites that sell the battery and they will give you the specifications for your battery.

The OP asked how to tell if her battery was a 4 or 6 cell and you replied to use your program which you know full well does not tell the user such data and then you defend your post. This could easy be taken as spam.
