I am having trouble with my macbook laptop. The battery does not charge and when I load into the OS (with power cord plugged in) the battery program in the tray has an X through it and when I click it it says "no batteries available." Does this mean the battery needs to be replaced, or the motherboard connector is bad? I spilled water on the laptop one night, the battery was in very good condition (being over 4 years old), and now what I wrote above - is happening.

Thanks,
foxyy

Hopefully, you left the laptop off for quite a few hours after the spill...
It sounds as though you will need to replace the battery - my best guess here

It wasn't the battery, I'm guessing its the battery connector from the motherboard. Anyone know where to get replacement parts for old mac book?
