Laptop Blink Problem

Hey guys I would like to ask you guys for help about my laptop.

My laptop is a a ROG G75JW gaming laptop and has been slowly deteriorating over the years. It is now running on a dead battery which means it has to always be plugged in. My laptop suddenly have had this problem where in random times no idea why it happens but it would suddenly blink like go black and go back to the screen but once it goes back to the screen it is completely frozen thus I would have to unplug and plug it back in. It's quite a hassle for me. I know like I should buy a new battery but its quite expensive and plus my laptop started to slow down after 3 years from the day I bought it.

Can't really tell if symptom is battery related. Nevertheless monitor that battery, it may start bulging, leak! and starts a fire.

I have removed the battery already long ago and currently running my laptop with my laptop charger plugged in.
