Laptop blue screen of death

Hey Guys ,
i have an asus x50gl laptop , a couple of days ago when i tried to start it , igot a blue screen for second and than the laptop restarted itself.Since than this happens every time i try to turn it on , i can only go to the BIOS , i tried to reinstall the win xp , but it gave the BSOD again.The error code is : 0x0000007B (0b84CFS24,0xOxc0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000).
The shity thing is that the warranty expires in 10 days.please help !

Get it into the dealer or contact Acer before the warranty expires !

Meantime if there are two memory sticks, try removing one and see if the problem goes away, if not replace and remove the other, repeat.

Sorry, Asus not Acer. They may be able to tell what the issue is from the error message.


Not hard drive, memory modules -- usually under a hatch in the bottom of the laptop (see the manual).

The laptop has changed in the bios the sata mode from compatible to enhanced , could this be the reason ?
