Laptop Bluetooth Suddenly Not Working !!!

I opened my laptop for abit of cleaning and after opening the battery , I decided against it ... Now , after starting the laptop the bluetooth isn't detected ... I tried my scanning for hardware changes via device manager , but it didn't show up ... I tried reinstalling the driver but it didn't recognize any device and so didnot install ...

Acer P243-M ... It shipped with Windows 7 but I have installed Windows 8 .. Also , this happened once before when I installed a new RAM ... I don't remember what I did to fix it , probably a OS reinstall ... But that is not a feasible solution ...

It may be switched off. Did you try the Fn-key to switch it on. Do you see the BT-Device in device management?

Thanx a ton ... Yes , it was switched off ... I used the fn key + wireless key and it popped up in the notification area ...
