Laptop cannot connect to home wifi. Ethernet cable doesnt even work. Laptop works everywhere else

Okay so I have this new Asus laptop with windows 10. The wifi at home does not work, but I tried it at the place I work at and the wifi works. At home it will say "could not connect to this network." Wifi on my phone and other devices work at home. I tried with the ethernet and it says " Ethernet doesn't have valid IP configuration."

Basically no matter what I do, my internet at home doesnt work on this laptop in particular. I tried going into device manager and unistalling the wireless adapter, refreshing and reinstalling and it still wont work.

My wireless adapter is a qualcomm atheros ar9485 and the ethernet one is a realtek pcie gbe family controller.

Reset your router and change the ssid and password and try again...
