Hp 15t (non touch) 15.6 inch , i7 4702mq/4900mq , 1tb hdd , 4gb/2gb 740m graphic card , 8gb ram

Honestly, you do not want to go to 17" if you plan on carrying it around with you. 17 is too big for a portable computer. I would go with the lenovo. The build quality of lenovo is pretty darn good, and I would think even though the y50 is a consumer grade lenovo, it should have very high quality build. The displays arent going to be that much different, just the touch.

If these are all the same price, the lenovo is still going to be more bang for your buck.

When you start throwing all those other options in there it gets confusing to sit there and compare apples to oranges.

Keep it as simple as possible. The Lenovo has noticeable performance differences, for the better. And if the price is the same, dont you want more power for the...

I would go with the Lenovo. You wont do anything that needs the extra 8 gigs of ram. And you will benefit from the hybrid drive with 8gig SSD cache. The processor has a noticeable difference as does the GPU.

The only thing that would make me consider the Dell, is the touch screen. I recently got a lenovo twist that we put Win7pro on and touchscreen capabilities and its a lot of fun and very easy to push and click on the screen without having to use the mouse. The touch is actually really useful. That being said, I dont think the usefulness and coolness factor outweigh the usability and functionality of the lenovo. Seems to me that if they're the same price, the lenovo is the way to go.

Let us know what you decide. Which way are you leaning?

I am considering dell because of its build quality, battery life and premium look but dual core processor is letting me down !
I have another option of dell 17R 7737 touch with same specs as dell 7537 for the same price!
I am totally confused between dell ( poor cpu and gpu ) vs lenovo ( poor display )
I will be using the laptop for photoshop , coding and browsing !
Will dual core i7 processor can have enough power for above tasks ! or quadcore proceesor is a must !
Gaming is just the last thing for me to do on laptop as I cpu for that !
What about hp 15t laptop - i7-4702mq , 4gb 740m graphic card ,non touch - same price
As of now I am tending towards dell ! Please help me selecting one of these four laptop ;
Dell 7537 (touch) 15.6 inch, i7 4510u , 1tb hdd, 2gb 750m graphic card , 16gb ram (7 hours battery)
Dell 7737(touch) 17.3inch , i7 4510u , 1tb hdd , 2gb 750m graphic card , 16gb ram (6.5 hours battery)
Lenovo Y50 (non touch ) 15.6inch , 4710hq , 1tb hdd hybrid , 4gb 860m graphic card , 8gb ram
Hp 15t (non touch) 15.6 inch , i7 4702mq , 1tb hdd , 4gb 740m graphic card , 8gb ram
Hp 15t (touch) 15.6 inch , i7 4800mq , 1tb hdd hybrid(24 gb ssd) , 2gb 740m graphic , 12gb ram
All the laptops are nearly equally charged for me (+/- 100 dollars ) , I am getting huge discounts in dell whereas other laptops aren't at dicounted price !
Which laptop should be the value for money ?

I mean the price of i7 4510u > i7 4710hq , so in lenovo only more pricier thing than dell 7537 is gtx 860m gpu other than that everything is in the favour of dell ! That why I am confused other than that I nearly made mine mind to go with lenovo y50 ! Have you seen lenovo y50 physically ! Is the laptops display so bad !
