laptop doesn't turn on

I've a aspire E1-572-6802 laptop and after i shut down it wont turn on and shows acer and then stays on a dark screen. I can't restart it please help me.

Does your operating system boot successfully and just shows a cursor or does it just show a black screen?

* What OS are you using?
