Laptop - Extremely Slow Wifi Speeds.

Hey there, I have been trying to solve my issue with slow Wifi speeds to my laptop.

I bought a brand new ASUS ROG Strix Hero Edition.

Specs: i7-8750H
16 GB RAM
128 SSD
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

I've had the laptop for about a week and my internet modem supports up to 1GB/s but my speed is constantly 0.1-2.0 mb per second.

All my other Wifi connected devices sit around 500-700 mb/s, anything hardwired sits around 900mb/s

I have tried so far:

- Fresh install of windows
- Exchanging the laptop for another one
- Contact ISP for errors
- ISP swapped modem
- Uninstall Drivers/Reinstalled/Updated Drivers
- Windows updates

Only thing that is slightly successful is when I change the wireless to 802.11n the laptop increases to 180 mb/s.

Not sure what else I can do!

If it is brand new and doing this, I would have them exchange it for a correctly functioning one.
