The Quadro GPUs offer certified drivers, which are optimized for stability and performance in professional applications (CAD, DCC, medical, prospection, and visualizing applications). The performance in these areas is therefore much better compared to corresponding consumer GPUs. Rendering is where it really out performs The GtX. If I was doing professional Modeling and Rendering I would go with the MSI but I would have to recommend more ram and at least a Quadro P4000. You may be in the entry level of whatever business, so it will get you by until you get your first big paycheck. If your just someone like me who like messing around with animation and its not for a Job then you want a decent Consumer Laptop, But FOR A PROFESSIONAL ( you are making money) Workstation desktop is the way to go. Top work stations will keep you poor until you work for a company that pays you big bucks for great work. In conclusion if your an amateur go with a consumer grade laptop. If your a Professional and connect with others in an office environment and model render like crazy your going to need a workstation. I cant recommend either model you posted as only you know what you really need.
