Hi guys,
Can someone help me please?
I want to get a new laptop. I develop applications (mostly web applications). I need a laptop to have a good battery life and perfect performance.

Thanks in advance

Have you considered the chromebook pixel? Also I don't know if you would consider it, but I have a macbook pro and you could get a retina for 1600 which would be really good for that purpose.

i think a laptop with i5 (not ultra low voltage) and ssd will do the job . My laptop has i3 2350M 2.3GHz 2C/4T and i feel is fine but when starts to load MS Visual Studio , it drives me crazy because my laptop has only hdd.

if you need a gaming laptop , but better buy a desktop - more for the money

chromebook pixel has 4GB RAM that that is what I have now and the reason I hate my slow lagy laptop. on the other side macbook is very good but I dont understand this thing:
13-inch: 2.4GHz
with Retina display
Specifications:
2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz
8GB 1600MHz memory
256GB PCIe-based flash storage1
Intel Iris Graphics
Built-in battery (9 hours)2
---------------
is 256GB all it got? My current laptop's file are 300GB (used)

I won't play games on it. I have a desktop for games :).
I am thinking about macbook pro but if the 15 Inch base model was having at least 500GB, it was great.
