Laptop for a year

Getting a gaming laptop to last a year and I'll be doing video editing and school work and a few games like Minecraft and cs:go. http/shop.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/lenovo/z-series/z40/

I just need a good laptop with enough power to get me until next year when I get my gaming pc, how good of a laptop will this be?

That laptop is equipped with an i7 (Great for editing/rendering etc), Nice 1920x1080 res, 16GB Ram (Also great for GFX/VFX) Graphics card) 1TB is plenty of space..

There is 4 different models on the link you posted.. All are pretty solid for the price. You're for sure going to want to grab one with the i7 though..

I was thinking to get the i5 since its only a year long laptop, isnt the i7 a bit extra?

Ohh it's only for a year? then yeah go with the i5. Go with the cheap model... specs are good across the board.
