i am an architect looking for a laptop to run AutoCAD Revit, 3d Studio, and illustrator. I have been using an Asus machine successfully for years, but am considering the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro. Is this a good choice, or is there a better option?
I will need your budget. The ghost pro is a good machine but I have never actually used it. I have on the other hand used asus laptop and they are great for this. You can't really go wrong with any of them.
You could look at workstations like the Lenovo w series, hp elitebook or the dell precision if they are in the price range.
My budget is in the $1500-$3000 range so that i can get a really good laptop and separate monitor for my new business. Do you have any specific model numbers you recommend?
For that high price you should be looking at the origin laptops or barebones as they are much more customisable and cheaper. I can't recommend any specific laptops as I have not used them.
