Laptop for casual use and gaming $500 and under

I wanted to know a good suggestion for a laptop that is $500 and under that is used for school work, watching movies and videos and for casual gaming like for World of Warcraft, LoL and such. I do not want an acer I have heard some bad things about acer. I was looking at some HP laptops and they seem okay, but I'm not to sure if there is anything better.

Well I'm not really looking for something that can run everything on ultra just enough to get me buy, I have a massive desktop and I hate taking it to friends houses and stuff and I'm also in college so I hate just having my desktop there with me. I just like to leave it at home for others to use if they need.

I just like to leave it at home for others to use if they need.

Well a buddy of mine has a laptop from HP he kinda likes it and it's a quad A8 with an HD rad and he can run guild wars 2 on high and stuff but the computer is like 459.99

You can believe me or not lol...

But I sell Laptops in my shops in the UK ...

I would never sell a lappy to a customer who wanted to game for that price...

I would advise him to build a gaming PC...
