Laptop for engineering and light gaming

I've been considering this one:
Acer Aspire E5-575G 15,6
specs:
-GeForce 940MX
-Core i5-7200U
-6GB RAM
-256GB SSD
-8 hour battery life

Only wish it had 8GB of ram, but that can probably be fixed. Is this a good pick, or do you have other recommendations? Thanks.
