Hey guys, i'm wondering if anyone knows any good laptops for games and streaming. I'l looking for a laptop that can play League of Legends, WoW and RS3, and be able to stream with no lag. Any suggestions?
Are HP laptops with the GTX cards and i7s good choices?

I currently have a HP pavilion laptop 17 inch with AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.40 GHz, 8gb RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6520G, Windows 7 64 bit. It lags so bad and idk why. It has to be plugged in to work, it can't work without it not being plugged into the charger (but that doesn't bother me because i don't take it really anywhere except my room), and the fan.. i don't think it works. I have to have an external fan blowing into the laptop for it to not overheat and shut down. What would i fix to stop the lag? Are the specs fine or no?

If mobility isn't a concern, consider building a desktop. You can build a much more powerful desktop for a lower price than buying a gaming laptop. You can also upgrade the parts over time.

You're current laptop seems fine for around medium settings in those games. Are you getting playable frame rates with medium settings in League? You could be getting low framerates because your cpu is over heating.

No, i'm getting lots of stuttering. When i play RS on lowest possible settings, i get stuttering when people are around. Idk what the prob is. Maybe it's the cpu fan, but i have a fan blowing into the side of it. Soo. idk :/ What kind of build would you recommend?

A decent gaming laptop for me (860M minimum, preferably 870M) costs $1250 to $1500 with a 17 inch screen. I know because I went through the whole process before deciding to build a desktop.

I am building a significantly better computer with about 80% better graphics, for 30% less and with a better screen.

If you choose to go laptop still, then I recommend Sager as having very good price/performance/heat management.

I think laptops are cool because you can hook up monitors to it and use a dual setup pretty much and take it anywhere you need to. Budget would be probably 800-900. I have 2 monitors but no os unfortunately.

Then you can afford something like a Levovo Y50 or a 510, or an ASUS 550 which are capabable of some gaming and are in your price range. Just be aware that driving the second monitor puts a huge load on your laptop GPU and you may have heat and/or performance issues.

Even with a 20% discount, the price difference will not be enough to justify buying a gaming laptop. You can still get a MUCH better gaming desktop than ANY gaming laptop for cheaper.

In fact you could get a entry level gaming desktop and a new laptop for basic use for the same price as buying a 1k gaming laptop.

and a cheap laptop I found with a quick search ( may not be the best for the price)

Could swap the i5 for an i3 and the 280 to a 270x to cut costs.
