Laptop for gaming??

Hi all,
would a Lenovo laptop with the following specs be suitable for gaming?

•Intel i7 Dual Core / 2 GHz
•Nvidia GT 840M / 4 GB RAM
•8 GB RAM / 1 TB HDD + 8 GB cache

It depends what games you want to play,since the GPU isn't the greatest.

The laptop is for my 10 year old son. He plays Battlefield, MineCraft, MedalOfHonor, Blacklight Retribution which should be OK as they can run on our current (and smaller laptop), but when he tries to play Farming Simulator og Agricultural Simulator, then the PC lags.

You can get it,it's really cheap for a good laptop.
But he may need to turn the settings down a bit,maybe to medium or so.

thanks for your input. We'll buy the laptop and cross our fingers that it's big enough. Found some clips on YouTube where different games where played with this GPU and no-one seemed to be complaining about lagging etc.
