Laptop for graphic design student

Hello, my sister is going into graphic design school and were looking at these two laptops but we don't know if they would be good enough for her program.

Would a macbook pro be a better choice? I heard that they have true color representation which could be important for her.

'going into graphic design' means going to graphic design school? If so, I recommend asking for help there. The glossy mac display may not be the best choice for the job.

Pretty sure, the school can help with the selection, at least the mac vs. pc choice. Just call them and ask for help.
