HI all!

My wife has multiple sclerosis and has use of only her right hand which is pretty weak. We'd like to replace her old laptop which is running painfully slowly.
We'd like a light unit with an easily readable screen and full keyboard with number pad, It's mainly sued for video streaming, email and word processing. Battery power doesn't matter as it is really only used pplugged in. Low cost would be a help. Any suggestions?

Off topic, but does anyone have a useful resource for creating shortcuts/tweaks in windows to make operating one handed easier? Easy to use dictation software? Dictation on her iphone is a blessing.

Thanks everyone!

What's wrong with the Ideapad 330 you already have? That is a pretty recent model.

Have not seen a laptop over 17" size so if you have the 17" version of the Ideapad, for basic use there are no issues with using what you already have.

For using with one hand, there are many usability options in Windows, such as single click to open things, or using a touchscreen if you decide to get a new system. Voice to text is also built into Windows, and there are some programs like Dragon Naturaly Speaking that are great for that.
