Solved! Laptop for home recording...HELP!

Hi guys, new to the forum (no flames, please)!

I'm looking for a solid laptop for home audio recording. Obviously, graphics are not important.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a moderately strong computer for a small home studio? I'm not looking for anything too fancy.

My budget is $750 or less. Yes, I know I won't be able to get much power for that money, but guess what ... that's what the community is for. I want to know the consensus of what I COULD get.

And no, I'm not a fan of Macs.

Laptops aren't renowned for their sound qualities. However, I think that regardless of manufacturer, integrated sound has caught on everywhere. Have a look at the laptops below. If you cannot find anything that suits your audio needs, may be think about taking a look at this article:
