1. What is your budget? $500~

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 15.6

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Higher the better i suppose.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Portable, i have a desktop i use at home for Gaming.

5. How much battery life do you need?

Longer the better.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Like I said I have a desktop that I use at home. Desktop would be used mainly for work / web-surfing / media streaming. I would like the Laptop to have a the capability for light gaming as an option, im not saying i want to play GTA V on it, but indie / MOBA / ESO would be nice to run smoothly.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

see #6.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

More the better, dont need an obscene ammount. Would prefer SSD but i know it can spike the price. SSD could be an upgrade option later on if it breaks that price / utility margin.

TigerDirect.com , Newegg.com , Amazon.com

my only concern is that it doesnt support 1080p.. which isnt a huge deal, but could I find one that does support that resolution / has similar specs at that price point?

"Its a bit overkill"

I dont mind the ability to game harder, but as far as the resolution, one major use will be streaming media from this to my living room TV via HDMI, from what i understand i would not be able to stream 1080p HD content if it is not natively 1080p on my laptop.

is this correct?
