Laptop freezes at random times

Laptop freezes at random times, it seems to be random and only way to unfreeze it is to close the lid 'till the computer goes to sleep and opening it again, then it freezes after a while again

I've got pretty big memory usage, but I'm not sure if it's related with chrome it gets up to 80% I've got 8GB of RAM

I've got Lenovo Y720 It's about 7-8 months old

Are you doing anything specific when it freezes? Or do you have many things open at the same time?

Also, if it is that new, it should still be under warranty so you may want to contact the manufacturer.
