I have had my laptop for about 3 years.
Recently (over the last few months), it has started getting hotter a lot quicker than it used to.
It overheats after playing games that aren't demanding like 'payday: the heist' even though my laptop beats the recommended system requirements by miles.

My friend told me that i need to clean my laptop but i dont know how to do that and dont know if he is right.

How can i fix this problem?
thanks in advance

Being 3 years old it probably needs to be cleaned of the dust that's built up - so your friend is right.

You can do something as simple as blowing compressed air into the vents or, if you're daring, you can open up the laptop and hit the innards with compressed air to get a really good dusting.
