No, you can't upgrade laptops. This is sometimes why people buy desktops. If you were a geek and knew how to then you would risk breaking it. No, you can't upgrade laptops.

This is not entirely correct. There are still laptops that use socketed cpus and MXM gpus that are upgradable. However the OPs model does use a soldered cpu and gpu so while upgrading is still technically possible with the proper equipment it's expensive and has a high failure rate.
