laptop internet speed issue

Hello i have hp 15 r222ne which i recently bought with windows 7 and my wireless adapter is rtl8723be i installed latest driver but laptop internet is slow but when i connect it through cable its speed is fast

The fact it's connecting (albeit slow) over wifi is a good sign.

Do you have other devices connected? How are the speeds on those?
It might well be a capability issue with your router opposed to being an issue with the laptop - especially if you've troubleshooted & have drivers up to date etc.
